Me and my boyfriend have nothing to talk about on the phone

We’ve been dating for more than 2 years, so our relationship is good. Buy when it comes talking to each other on the phone, we have absolutley nothing to talk about. Smedays we talk about everything under the sun - but tonight we talked about NOTHING. Sometimes its usually because he’s tired, or he’s watching tv, or he’s playing xbox, or he has a friend over. Tonight he had a friend over. Usually when he does, he makes time to go back in his room to talk to me. That’s what he did. But then we sat on the phone for like 15 listening to each other breathe. And if we don’t talk and he says he wants to get off and go to bed or something, I start being the whiny baby I am, and I don’t want to get off. What to I do?

Neither do I, ever. But that’s when you have to realize that’s why the conversation didn’t last, I don’t think its anything personal.

Sometimes its just hard to think of topics, if you wanted to talk to him that bad you should have thought of something interesting to talk about.

When it gets quite… Then maybe it is the time to get off the phone. Its not the funniest thing sitting there listening to each other breath but sometimes its fine.

If it keeps a-curing then maybe yall just arnt the right people to be talking on the phone. It cant ruin a relationship and it doesn’t mean yalls relationship is going down the drain just sometimes its hard to talk on the phone. Just dont worry girl things should be fine
