If my tubes are tied and no period, is it normal?

Dear mariacbrown, getting your tubes tied does not stop your period. Your period should come monthly as normal. You should be going to a doctor soon after your tubes are tied for a follow up. This is a shock to the system and it may be normal for this delay. Make sure you see the doctor and report this. Sue…good luck

well the only reason to get your tubes tied is to prevent pregnany and getting your period. getting them tied prevents the egg from being released so yo can get your period and yo cant get pregnant either. did you know this before you got them tied?
