Mac computer helppp

My mac computer is repeating every letter I type and every button I press I did not set it this way and I dont know how to change it.. Can someone tell me how please!!!

Go to System Preferences ▸ Keyboard & Mouse ▸ Keyboard and play with the settings there. maybe something was accidentally altered and you didn’t mean to do it. if that doesn’t work- have you spilled anything on your keyboard/done anything to damage it? even minor accidents can change the keyboard’s function. Let me know if you can’t figure it out.
