Long Distance Relationship Advice, please!
Me and my girlfriend met through what’s probably still seen as not very traditional, we met online. But we’ve been together sinse summer last year but we’d talked for months before that - either way i want to ask Cus I’ve learnt that her dad and one of her older brothers are quite … over protective, I understand Cus I can be quite protective over my sister to, but I’m starting to get quite nervus about going and meeting them … Any advice to how I could make the best impression? There’s quite alot of past family history. I don’t want to mess up .. Thanks!
Use manners. Dress up but not too formal, it’ll look like you’re over doing it. Don’t show pda around them, it’ll put everyone in an awkward position and only cause tension. Answer all questions, honestly, but don’t give away too much.
If it seems like they’re being hard on you, it’s only because they want the best for her. Just show them that you don’t plan on breaking her heart or leaving her. That you’ll be there for her whenever she needs you.
