How long does it take for a cold sore in the corner of your mouth to go away?

I got one like 2 days ago :( I clean it with peroxide, and then I cut open a vitamin E and rub that on it so the peroxide doesn’t make it too dry. How long should it take for it to go away?

It honestly depends on the strength of your immune system & the severity of what caused the sore. Most cold sores that are treated appropriately will heal in a week, though. Hang in thereee! (:

“carmex” is 2 bucks…over the counter by the register & is a lip balm silly! It really is the only thing that helps me…

Answer #11

Cold sores are not nice, I used to have them when I was younger. What I used, that was an almost immediate heal, was the perfume ‘4711’. It will sting upon application, but the result is amazing.

You only need a drop.

Answer #12

Woah are you kidding me? That’s so weird!!

Answer #13

Not at all, there is something within that particular cologne that heals. I don’t know what it is, but it works.

Answer #14

Anywhere between 7 to 10 days, and will pop out again when under physical or mental stress.
