Little brother is so badly behaived.

I honestly dont even know what to do. My little brother is out of control. Always. He swears, disrespects adults (esp. My parents) beyond belief, hits his siblings, spits on them. And most of all he yells. He yells all the time. So loudly. He is 8 years old. My parents hardly punish him. He tells them “he hopes they day” and stuff. I know he doesnt mean it but he needs punishments. Any advice?

Answer #1

Don,t let your come in your way just punish him don,t punish that much that he listen your order and never let your disturb you and also tell your parents

Answer #2

There’s nothing YOU can do. He’s not going to listen to an older sibling. Your parents need to step up and punish him.

BBALLGIRL- HONEY, AS A 40 YR OLD MOTHER OF 5…ONE-BEING AN OUT OF CONTROL 8 YR OLD…YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND, THERE IS AN UNDERLYING PROBLEM TO HIS RAGE AND ANGER- AS THERE IS FOR MY SON. HE IS NOW ON MEDICATION-TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM HIM AT THE TIME OF AN OUTBURST. TRY TO DISCUSS YOUR CONCERNS WITH YOUR PARENTS- GENTLY SUGGESTING A COUNSELOR (MAYBE). TRY TO GET YOUR BROTHER TO UNDERSTAND YOU WANT TO HELP AND YOU ARE THERE IF HE WANTS TO TALK. REMEMBER TO STAY SAFE- IF THE FAMILY DOES NOT HELP YOU- LOOK FOR OUTSIDE RESOURSES.

I have the exact same problem. I’ve found that he behaves better when he is happy (obviously) and acts like an animal when he is upset. Since punishing him would probably make him more upset (am I right?), then punishment might not be the best course of action. My brother got his first deer a couple of weeks ago and he was happy as can be, but he was also the sweetest little angel that has ever lived. When he gets punished, he runs around wailing and attacking and screaming and wont stop until he is happy again. However, no matter what mood he is in, he is constantly making noise. He talks so much, you’d swear he’d get sick of it. When he isn’t talking, he’s screaming and tapping and singing and humming or playing his music at full blast. I just tone it out, but I understand some people can’t do that. You could just leave the house or go to your room, but just try to get away from him. Because if he is the way he is because of a medical condition like my brother, there is no changing his behavior
