Lied to a teacher....

Okay so we have this thing called stamps at our school where you get a stamp if you complete your homework. Today the teacher missed our table so I thought I could just get my stamp later that day. So I go in later and the teacher isn’t there. I spend two minutes debating whether or not I should just stamp myself and run(you need a teacher to stamp you). I do that and run out of there. Unfortunately the teacher is already walking down the hall and she sees me come out of there. I’m holding my planner which is where we get stamped, by the way. She asks if I needed anything. I lied and told her I lost my book. Hmmm. She helps me look for it. Then she sees my bracelet which I accidentally left on the desk when I was stamping myself. “How did this get here?” she asks. “Oh, I, uh… I think that’s mine. I guess I lost that too. Uh… Now I feel like it isn’t mine. Yeah, mines on my binder. I guess someone has the same one. Heh heh. Ill just leave it…” “Oh. Oh we’ll. Check your next class for your book okay?” “Uh, sure! Yup I will do that.” I run out of there. Now I feel extremely guilty. What should I do? Forget it? Admit I lied? Keep lying?

Answer #1

You could admit it and get yourself in a bunch of trouble or just learn your lesson and never lie about that kind of thing again…
