You’d really have to look into each college. Generally the types of courses that fall under the liberal arts would be programs like psychology, feminist studies, criminology, philosophy.
To put it a bit more crudely, I would say a degree that gives you very little earning potential right after college. Most good students who graduate from with a liberal arts degree carry on with an advanced degree (JD, PhD) and, of course, a boat load of additional debt unless you have wealthy folks willing to support your professional student ways.
