Are there any legit and safe websites where you can send in your jewelry, and receive cash for it?

Answer #1

I sent in a gold chain to cash for gold a couple of months ago - it really wasnt worth it. They sent me about the same amount that a pawn shop would have given me for the chain. Im not sure if they are all like that, but it discouraged me from doing it again. Id rather sell it on craigslist or just pawn it next time and have the money right away.

I went to two pawn shops, and tried to sell my two watches…they said they don’t even take watches. :/

Answer #3

it depends on what kind of jewelrey it is. its its real gold , yes. but its MUCH easier to just take it to a pawn shop than waste money on postage, as they dont pay much for gold and sell it at about 4 times+ the price you got from them. if its real silver there are a lot less places that you can mail it in. if its just normal jewlerey or watches then no. you’ll need to take it to a pawn shop or sell it online on places like ebay or craigslist. selling your gold online usually gets you a higher price than from a gold buyer shop anyway

Answer #4

go to a store to turn it in, don’t send it to some website. that way you will know who you’re doing business with.

Answer #5

I can’t find a store that will take it, that is why I am asking this.
