What are some good laptops for under $400?

I just want a simple laptop. I don’t care if it has a webcam. I just want a laptop.

I know they are priced over $400, but if you look for a good sale you should be able to find them under $400.

But with netbooks expect really low specs. They are useful for internet browsing and typing up homework. Really NOT made to do ANY gaming at all. Most have no DVD drive either.

If its not something you have to have in the next few days keep you eyes out for good sales. If you patient you can find a $600+ laptop for under $400.
Right now most places are doing back to school sales. Newegg (newegg.com) and Tiger Direct (tigerdirect.com) both have been advertising a lot of laptops on sale right now.
