is my laptop going to pick the wireless up if my computers switched off ?

i have just installed my wireless and everythings working fine…. but does my computer need to be switched on and running for my laptop to pick up the wireless ?

nope as long as the router is on the laptop will work on the wireless the computer has nothing to do with it :)

no it doesnt. but your router needs to be kept on. my moms in teh same boat. pc in hall and lappy in living room.

yeahh the routers in my sisters room and im downstairs but it stopped working for abit just so i just turned my laptop off but its working now aha :)
