If that senerio were true…

I believe that I would name the girl “Prussia”, or “Argentina”, or “Angola” … depending upon their personality. The reason for this is because in many of the romance languages, words that express the female gender end with the letter “a”.

For the boy’s name, perhaps name him after “Costa Rica” (call him “Rico” for short), “Morocco” (“Rocco” for short), … or simply “Chad” (a country on the continent of Africa).
