What brand of jogging clothes for winter?

Hey all. My treadmill broke a few days ago … and it’d cost me more to fix it than to buy a new one. Anyways, I now have to go jog outside. Any suggestions about clothing (I’m in Canada, -15* average with snow and wind) ? And if so, any brands you might sugggest ? thank you

I live in Canada to and yes running in snow/ice/ and wind is not very fun. There is a chance you will fall on ice or something. If you do feel the need to run in the cold then I suggest north face its a hiking company but they make jogging clothes they are your best bet

I would advize running in doors (malls, gyms, any where possible.) becsue running in the cold weather and breathing in cold air can damage your lungs. if you do run in the cold wear enough to stay warm, but not enough to sweat profusly in because a cold sweat can cause hypothermia. best of luck homestar_runner3:)

I’m from Michigan. When I ran winter track our coach told us not to run below 20F (-7 C). Clothing generally isn’t the problem; you can simply keep adding layers until you are warm enough. The problem is breathing the cold air. On the coldest days we wore masks (surgical or belaclavas) to the heat of our exhaled air would help warm our next breath.

I know some people who run malls. I understand that some malls open early for walkers and joggers to get their miles in before the stores open. This might be more healthful than running in the bitter cold.
