Whats a jock, like foreal?

Guy , Whats a jock , like foreal? Cuse alL of a sudden im a “JOCK” Just cause im in VolleyBall and in 6th grade I was in softball and last year I tried out for flag football ( but the seson was cancled) and played basketball a lot with my friends , but arnt jocks like players ?

Jocks are those who are into sports. Originally Jocks were always guys, and they were called that because they wore jock straps to help protect their privates during sports.

he isnt calling you a player he is just calling you like sporty

It means you’re very sporty- kind of like calling you a tomboy. It can be taken as a good thing, or a bad thing depending on the context of the conversation or way they said it to you. Jocks have a reputation for BEING players, but the two aren’t the same thing.
