Its scripted, however they do take a lot of pain in their matches, for example falling a high distance does do damage to your body.

All fake and scripted. Every wrestler follows script like a movie star. Only a minority of injuries are real such as muscle tear. The ring itself is like a trampoline. Now WWE sucks it was in its golden period when it was WWF. It rocked even though it was fake.
