Is there something wrong with me?

For starters, I’m aware that I’m extremely unhappy, because I feel really claustrophobic in my town, but can’t leave. I don’t sleep more than four hours at night, and sometimes even less. I don’t trust ANYONE, and I’ve stopped doing many things that I really enjoy. On weekends, I literally have to force myself to go out with friends because I really don’t want to. I can’t open up to people, and when I’m alone, I just break down. I’ve had a difficult past, including assault. I’m not suicidal, but… Is there something wrong with me? Should I ask for help?

you probably have an anxiety disorder I do but I went to talk to someone (psychiatrist) and after finding one I could trust it was nice to know I could tell her my problems then get up and leave and know she wouldn’t say anything to anyone else. For once in my life I could feel and not be judged. then I cleaned up my life moved on from my horrible past made a new life for myself and threw out all of the people who hurt me and didn’t care About me. Believe me this will help more than anything else plus no one has to know and maybe try some medication because there is nothing wrong with being happy no matter how you get there. as long as you don’t hurt anyone in the process. So get happy and life will start to look promising. Good luck I hope I helped=)

YEs…I’ve kin dof been there…but recovered..I didnt go to the doctor I was more spiritual…but if you cant find the will to you’ll never fight it off…it’s deadly…and pretty soon you will become suicidal like I was…

it sounds like depression, sweety! It is alright though I would tell your dr. they can help you thru it with meds. or even talk to a shrink! I have went thru it myself its ok you will be alright just tell urself everything is alright and breathe!!! :)
