you,ve fallen into a pattern that includes these factors:

CONFUSION- what is your personal depression like, and what is your happiness like DENIAL- that you can actually be happy. FEAR- of recriminations from others (she finally got her act together..as if it were your fault NEED FOR DIRECTION- you are crying out for help, you need someone..not the parish priest LAZINESS- OMG! I live in a house where I have to sweep the kitchen, take out garbage; it is so much easier to retreat to your room. THREAT- the unkown, different, change always threaten us because we are not sure we can handle it; it may overwhelm us.

…for all the reasons mentioned above get yourself to a Psychiatrist first; then a therapist. I cannot impress upon you how much I believe that you are still depressed and need some antidepressant or an evaluation for depression, bipolar disease, or a mixed state. best of luck

hmm, I’ve been in your situation before dudette.. I’ve been depressed like crazy before and well, one day, I just thought to myself, there’s just no use getting all depressed and all.. keep trying to always look on the bright side of life (for more info, watch Monty Phyton’s Life of Brian <— Good movie LOL) anyways, if you want to talk to someone, I’m always ready to listen to anyone’s problem.. my ears are always open.. :)

It depends on what you mean by is there something wrong with you. It is quite normal for a person who has been depressed for a long time to be more comfortable with being depressed. Your brain has begun to think in certain ways and is just set up so that being depressed makes sense. When you’re not, it gets confused. Now, the thing that is wrong is that you’re depressed all the time. So in that way, well yes, that is something wrong with you. If you do not seek some kind of help or do something differently, it isnt going to go away.
