is there a word to describe this...

when you feel embarrassed for someone else? an example would be like you’re at a concert and suddenly a dancer or singer falls, and you find yourself feeling embarrassed for them, as if it was you.

empathise: verb: be understanding of; “You don’t need to explain–I understand!” [syn: sympathize]

empathetic is the word you need. Sharing the same feeling with another but it doesn’t have to be sorrow.

its actually sympathy not empathy empathy is when you have been in a similar situation you can empathise with them sympathy is the word your looking for :) x
