Is Myspace safe?

??? what is your opinion on myspace??

Answer #1

it’s pretty safe. you get the occasional little virus passed round, but I’ve never had any major issues.

Answer #2

in my opinion myspace isn’t that safe. I say this because you never know who is out there or what they might want to know. If you do create a myspace, here are some tips: NEVER post any pictures of yourself or others NEVER give out your address or phone # AND NEVER tell anybody who you are I heard on a tv report that someone can hack into myspace and easily find out where you live. What did he need to know? Just her first name. JUST her first name. That’s all it takes for somebody to find out where you live.

But as I said before, these are all MY opinions, so feel free to do what you feel is right.

Answer #3

As safe as a video game…my space is a bunch of posers that try to make a big first impression on tou , knowing that the majority is just photoshop

Answer #4

I agree with Here2help. If you are in there added any and everyone, then yes you are at risk of some unwanted thing. The porno chicks and models tend to have spam to. You just have to be selective on who you add.

Answer #5

Depends on your actions. I set my profile to private so I can choose the people that view my profile. And I only add people to my friends that I actually know in real life.

Answer #6

ok, I just asked a question how it is unsafe. you can change your city to something like “yo moma” or since I live in the country, “hicktown” ya know? and I don’t think it is unsafe b/c you can block people, delete friends, set your profile to private, you can limit all your information so I don’t think it’s unsafe at all…I’m not even thirteen and I have an account. I suck when it comes to computer technolegy and stuff so if EYE don’t find it unsafe, you shouldn’t…you don’t even have to put your pic or your real name!!! just don’t worry about what everybody else says…

Answer #7

it depends on the choices you make wile on it

Answer #8

its safe just set your page to private and dont put information on there you dont want people to no

Answer #9

Any site can be unsafe if you don’t have the right security.

Answer #10

Those kinds of sites are pretty much meant to “hack” into peoples info.
