I want to get it. but I don’t know if its going to slow down my computer “/

Nope - you don’t need to download anything so you should be fine.

edit Oops! I didn’t notice you said MySpace IM - it shouldn’t really make too much of a difference. Try it and out see, if it slows it down just remove it.

The only thing that can make it slow is you connection to the internet

Downloading and using Myspace IM won’t slow down your computer that you can significantly see a change.
