Is my mole cancerous?
approximately 3and1/2mm across. not symmetrical, bumpy edges. Dark brown round the outside and a dark brown spot in the middle and lighter brown inbetween (still significantly darker than my white skin colour) is there any possibility that this is cancerous? It’s on my front at the bottom of my ribcage and until the end of last year it was a freckle.
It certainly has many of the signs of being cancerous. See a dermatologist.
If it has grown then you need to get it checked out. Any mole on your skin that has grown, gets darker/lighter, becomes irritating or turns lumpy needs to be checked out.
