Is my cat pregnant?

About four days ago my indoor cat accidently got outside for about 45 minutes. When I found her, the first question that automatically popped into my head is “Gosh I hope your not pregnant.” The next day she started acting weird, she was sleeping a WHOLE lot and eating a lot more and when she isnt sleeping she is cleaning herself. And to add to that, SHE GAINED WEIGHT. She is a very tiny cat, and I’ve read online that if your cat is pregnant that you shouldn’t be able to notice it until like four weeks into the pregnancy. But I was thinking that maybe since she’s such a tiny cat that im more able to notice it. And its weird cause when I pick her up by her shoulders, I can tell her tummy area has gotten bigger and she has always been a tiny cat. I’ve also read online that to tell if your cat is pregnant, you can look at her nipples, and if they are pink and swollen it means she is preganant. well I looked, and they ARENT pink, the are more peachyish. But I dont know that they arent pink cause maybe its to early in the pregnancy. But I dont know, im just worried so if you could please give me your advice I’d really appreiciate it! Thanks!

ok lmao ma cat has got pregnant each yr lmao shes gave birth 6 times!!

the things you need to do if gently feel her belly and push in but don’t hurt her and make sure its when she has has’t eaten if it hard keep cheking for a few weeks is its hard all till den its more likly she pregnant if iu think she is leave her alone but on ma cat she got really big and I felt her kittens kick and the other thing you need to watch out for if she looking for worm places cats that are pregnant look for worm places to give birth.

I don’t think she is… maybe being outside made her hungry cause being an indoors cat she might be afraid of outside stuff so… more running… so she ate a lot when she got home making her fat, and she is still trying to get over the shock of being outside…

if she is pregnant, you won’t know yet for a few weeks. you could take her to the vet to be sure though,

Answer #4

probably not. When cats are pregnant they act weird, but it’s like, I dunno they’re a lot more friendly and they cry a lot when you pet them, but not because you’re petting them, they want you to keep petting them. They cry A LOT!
