Is it OK to like your best friends brother?

Before I knew my now best friend. I met a guy during summer school. he had all of my classes and I fell in love. Out of nowhere she started talking to me and we became friends. 2 weeks later I found out that t hey were brother and sister. I was shocked. I stayed away from him but he just seemed to get closer. He showed off a lot when I was around and he would look at me from the corner of his eyes to see if I was looking. I told my friend that I liked him about 2 months ago. Now I cant forget about him and I want to see him. He doesnt come to my school and thats a big problem because I think that im not ever going to see him again. I want to see him or talk to him I have his number but if I call him my friend will probably find out and I dont want to ruin our relationship. What should I do?
