Is it normal to feel like he is "there"

My boyfriends dad passed away last Wednesday, we are both 15. His dad was like a dad to me - I have known that family for 13 years. He told me he loved me, hugged me, cried infront of me, everything. I was at my boyfriends dads house with him today helping him clean (his parents were divorced) and it felt like his dad was there. The kitchen chairs were against the wall, and they all had things on them except for one. And it just felt like he was sitting there. When we were in the living room, it felt like he was sitting in his favourite chair. I started to cry, because it just felt like he was there. Is this normal?

I find it so hard to believe that he is actually gone. He passed away in that house.

yes, it’s normal… he will always be in your heart, therefore it will always seem like he is around… I’m sorry for your loss…

Answer #2

I am so sorry, yes this is normal and I do beleive that they are with us and sending us messages, Keep all of your senses open and I am sure there will be more to come. Most people don’t beleive and don’t ever get to see or hear the signs, but keep a open mind and lots of things can happen. Again I am sorry, this is never easy and the wound will heal but the scar will always remain.
