How much is an iPod touch 2nd gen worth?

My ipod is starting to flip out, so I’m buying another one but I just use it for music in the car and when running so I don’t want to spend $400 on a new one. A friend of a friend said that I could buy her 2nd gen ipod touch (not sure how many gb but I’m guessing it’s 8) for $100 NZD ($80 US) is this a good deal? Looking around on trade/selling websites I’ve found that most are going for about $180 NZD so I’m guessing this is quite a good deal.. but still not sure. There is nothing wrong with it or anything. Should I buy it?

depends on its condition, if it’s in fairly good condition I would say around $150 since it is most likely used?

I’d say that’s a fairly good price. I also looked around for you, most the ones I found that were about $80 USD were broken, needed repair or for parts. Ones in working condition were around $120 USD and up. I’d say that’s a good deal you friend is offering you.
