iPoD lasts never

AHHH omg. okay, so I have the ipod chromatic, & I recharge it like, for a whole entire effing day!!! after a days worth of recharging, it lasts for only an hour!!! can someone tell me why, & how to stop that & make it last longer?? its really annoying

It should still be under waranty than. Apple should fix it for you.

Sounds like the battery no longer holds a full charge.

If it is still under warranty than Apple should cover installing a new battery.

Otherwise the repair is to have a new battery installed. There are places that install batteries cheaper than Apple charges and have longer warranties.
