Why did I get impressions for my retainer a week before my next appointment?
I’ve heard that you’re supposed to get impressions for retainiers AFTER braces are removed.
you get before and after impressions with any dental procedure(s)… usually.
Yes that’s what they do because you won’t be wearing your retainer with braces will you? No. Also they need it before hand so they can actually make the retainer, which takes about a week to make.
I just got my retainer but mine only took about 5mins to make and then I took it home sk I don’t no why your was liKe that
Just went to the ortho today and realized that I got a different type a retainier. It was a metal type thing they glued to the back of my lower canines. Haven’t gotten my braces off yet, but it’s scheduled to be on the 31st of January! Thanks guys for your help anyways. I’m just impatient about having these braces on so that’s why I have so many questions and I’m always so stubborn to ask my ortho about it. :)
