Implantation bleeding or ovulation spotting?

I am on birth control and have been for over a year. I had my period 2 weeks ago and started a new pack 10 days ago. On Christmas eve I started noticing blood only when I wiped, and it is not like a regular period, but I am still getting cramps. The blood is pink/brown and kinda clumpy, and has not gotten any heaver in the last few days. I did miss a few days of birth control but I have already had my period this month. My partner and I have have moderate sex, and except for one time, we use protection. I have been getting really, really cranky with my guy for no reason, and I am not sure if this is hormonal or not. I have looked up a lot of stuff online and it seems like it could be one of these two things - implantation bleeding as if I were pregnant, or ovulation spotting. It seems more like the ovulation thing because implantation does not happen until 10 days after ovulation, which should be about right around the time the next period should happen. Unless those numbers aren’t perfect. I’m not sure though - I’ve never been pregnant before or anything. I’m due to get my period in about a week, and I’ve always been very regular, due to the birth control. I’m guessing my next start date by the number of pills I have left. What do you think?

You say you’ve missed a few days and still had sex then yes oubviusly theres a possibilty you are pregnant. Although its not verry common you can still get a period and be pregnant. But its not as abnormal to get light blood when your pregnant. If your next period doesnt come then definatly get checked out. An even better option would be to take a test anyway for your own piece of mind. good luck and remember to always take your pills!
