Can I move in with my older boyfriend?

ok im 16 ill be 17 next year but I wanted to find out if I can move in with my 21 year old boyfriend when I turn 17. We are planning on getting married when I turn 18 but my mom has been letting me see him for 2 years behind my dads back because he hates it he has already tried to get him locked up one time but I dont know if they can do that he did not get locked up but anyway he found out that we were still seeing each other and caled my mom and was threating to get here in trouble I guess she got scared because she sent me to live with my dad and I cant see my boyfriend anymore. please help me find legal answers my life is like hell right now please help me find answers. I also want to know if we can just be together when im 16.

I’m pretty sure that if there’s parental consent, you can live with him. Just make sure that you’re making the right decision in doing so. You might need parent/s to sign a few papers or something though.

Bottom line as sad as it is, there is nothing your parents can do to stop you however you will upset them if you do… The law states that you can make your own mind up living with either one of your parent when you are just 12 years old, the other states that when you are 16 you can make your own mind up where you choose to live, re:police, your boyfriend could of ended up in trouble if you was having sex under age, he could of ended up on the sex affenders list for the reat of his life and time in prison… as I have said at the begining, should you make the leap and move in with your boyfriend you will end up tearing your family apart, so do think about it wont you.. getting married at 18, only you can make that choice, although it is a tad young..
