I don't know what I want to do when I go to college.

I am in college, and I have no idea what I want to do. You will know what right for you when the time comes. Core classes in college can be a good way of helping you find something that may interest you. Do not stress out. I hope you have good luck in the future.

There are three fields that promise to change the world, and greatly enrich those involved:

1. Biotech. Whoever discovers how to stop aging will be the world’s first trillionaire.

2. Nanotech. This promises to not only stop aging, but reverse it, and protect us from all disease. The world’s 2nd trillionaire will probably come from this field.

3. Machine intelligence. This has the potential to invent (1) and (2) if they don’t happen first.

All three of these are so exciting at this point in time, I’m tempted to ditch my 20 years writing software, and go back to school to study (3).

im in college and I know tons of people who dont know what they want to do still. you dont really need to decide your first year. I knew I wanted to do musical theatre for a long time so thats what im majoring in. but you might want to consider business, some kind of manager job.
