Ideas for a Design

So we’ve recently started up summer marching band and I am having a hard time trying to come up with ideas. All we know is the title which is Iron Horse Train. So the obvious thing to draw would be a train, right well I feel like I should more to give it the feeling of a western, hardworking, struggle, or something symbolic not just a mode of transportation.

Maybe I’m thinking to hard about this give me your thoughts.

Dont laugh at my idea but how about an iron horse running on a train track? I know it sounds silly but it came to mind as I read your question.
