Why is there a big red X under "My Computer"?
I have a xp and I want to know why when press the “Start” button and click on “My computer and see my “C” drive there is a big red X instead of the usual pic, why?
Sounds a little bit like the icon picture for C: has been changed - either by someone using the computer, or if you’re the only person who uses the computer, it’s possible it has been changed by a virus. Best to run a scan of your computer to see if there are any nasties lurking on there.
