Should I have a baby at the age of 16?

Ok, I’m 15(16 in three days) , and I am a pretty smart young woman. I want a baby, but I’m still unsure if I should. Mainly because i don’t know who I would want the father to be. Or how my parents would react. I mean I have helped raise my nephew, he actually keeps calling me mommy, which feels nice to me, but he is not mine. I want my own. Should I?

OMG WAIT your wayyy to young finish highschool cause your wayyy to young and first off its illegal and before you have one the father will probably leave you cause he will be too young and get a job before you have a baby cause there expensive and youll need support

Just play with your nephew, and you can babysit him a lot if you want. You really need to wait. Don’t let Jamie Lynn Spears be your role model. Opt for more of a role model like Mandy Moore.

well i would say no cause u have (i am guessing u haven’t) not even started collage. u might wona first get a dgree or somehting to earn money and it will be alot harder with a baby. Plus there always a chance u might get aids or somethign

sorry for this but…you’re retarded my sister is 15 and pregnant and she’s not happy, she was the same way…she wanted to have a baby so she got pregnant, now she is regreting it listen to amblessed settle your life down first then start having a baby

No, your not even sure who you would want the father to be. You should wait until you have found the man of your dreams, someone you really care about b/4 you try to start a family. Trust me, unless you have enough money to start your own family w/o depending on others, dont do it. Babies are expensive. But, If you end up finding someone you want to be with that makes pretty good money along w/ yourself. Go for it. I just think they way your ? was asked, it would be bad timing. I think a lot of people are missing the main point that screams out at me from your question. That is, you’re asking people if you should.

If you’re doubtful about having a baby, it’s not a good idea. Sure, everyone has little worries when they think about starting a family. But I’m of the mind that, as well as offering a child the financial and emotional support it needs, you have to know without a doubt that you want this baby, and you want to look after it 24/7 for the next 18 years.

oh WAIT until you find the right person and settle down get married then have a baby i did it that way and no regrets i got married at 20 trust me time flies!! there’s nothing better than having a baby with a man that loves and supports you and helps out with the baby just be patient enjoy your youth! It would be so hard to meet guys and go on dates and try to find a husband with a baby !

I think you should wait… If you get pregnant right now while you’re still in school, you’re pretty much f*ing up your education and everything cuz you cant go to school… so yea, listen to amblessed. xD you have sooo much time.
