Okay.. Yes I think you should most deff tell him how you feel. But if I was you, I would try and hang out this weekend and just act cool about everything and just have a good time. Then later on that night you should sit him down and tell him how you feel and that you really didn’t cheat on him. If yall were meant to be things will work out. I promise. I think you should. If you think you two are meant to be. and it sounds like it was stupid to break up because of a rumor. I think you should just tell him again that it isn’t true. why did his friend tell him that? If your feelings are that strong for him it wouldn’t hurt to tell him.
