I think I got my period

I think I got my first period but I am not quite sure after I use the bathroom I see blood and I don’t know how to tell my mom please help

Answer #1

I’m sure she will understand she went through it too. Just tell her you might need some protection.

Answer #2

When I had my first period, I was so afraid to tell my mother at first until one of my sisters saw it. If you’re afraid to tell your mother, just leave her a quick note like one person above suggested which sounds like a great idea. Your mother knows what it was like and I’m sure she’ll understand. If you ask her “Mom, I need some pads” Then, she’ll know that you started. Its normal to feel this way. Every girl knows what its like. I know what you’re going through since I was embarassed to tell my mother.

Answer #3

Well, I didn’t have a problem telling my mother. It was quite easy for me, but people are different. =] But, she’ll be cool with it cause it is something that females should go through. I hate having periods it’s such a pain in the neck. But you’ll need to get pads and stuff cause it can get real messy. lol But your mother needs to know so she can keep those things around the house.

Answer #4

Tell her. She is a woman also and knows exactly what you’re going through. You will NEED to tell her sooner or later anyway so you might as well do it as soon as possible.

Answer #5

when I started I just asked my mum to pop up town and get me some pads she understood andw avet soke on that subject ever since think o it this waii it happens to all girls at one point even your mum had that worry once .x

Answer #6

Just tell her you think you got your period. I know it can seem like a big deal not to mention a little awkward, but really it’s just part of life… every other woman on the planet (well pretty much) has gone through it, or will… so… just tell her… also, the longer you wait, the harder it will get to tell her… might as well get it over with now…
