I really like this girl but she has a boyfriend back home

so here’s the deal - We’re both college freshmen this year and we met through a good friend (girl) at the girl’s school. We’ve had a flirtatious relationship from the get-go and it continued as we kept on getting to know eachother. There have been some physicalness and I was pretty sure that she thought I was cool.

She has a boyfriend that she has NOT hinted or mentioned at all - maybe an attempt to not put space between us - I don’t know.

I really like this girl; I’m definitely interested, she funny and really fun to be around.

But

How do I not go overboard? I want to continue on a good trend as friends, not put pressure on her, or force her out of her relationship. Then again, I don’t want to become the “BEST FRIEND” category in the process.

Please someone give me your take, any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you for you honesty

Answer #2

you already did go overboard. what part of “SHE’S TAKEN” do you not understand? if she had any feelings for you then she’d BE with you, not her boyfriend. stop fooling around with her, you’re just hurting yourself. wait until she’s single.

Girls are really confusing when it comes to this. I wouldn’t date her just because she is flirting with another guy. How would you feel if it happend to you?
