Dear thecerebralassassin, First of all you are not ready for children. You are only 18 and are …from your question not a good communicator. Children need good role models growing up, and mature ones. I also will assume you haven’t dated since you said you haven’t had much luck with women. So don’t jump the gun here. The age difference may not be a problem here but for a 28 year old women dating a 18 year old male is questionable. Makes one wonder about her maturity. Sue…good luck

You need to wait for a better time. Make sure this is what you want. Finish your schooling, get a good career, get married, be stable, then talk about children.
