I have really fine hair..

And when I try to curl it, it won’t curl. Like, when the lady curled my hair for homecoming, she used like a TON of hairspray just to get the curls to stay.

I’m tired of my naturally super-straight hair. So I wanna buy a 3 barrel curler when I get some money. But how can I get curls and such to stay? My hair goes from really pretty and curly to like, straight again in no time. Is there a way to fix this without using a tn of hairspray?

Also, I was looking at hair products online and I saw that Sally’s sells hair treatments to make fine hair, I guess.. not as fine? Do these products work?

I would love to have your hair; I have naturally curly hair and it’s such a hassel. I just straighten mine out though.

Answer #4

When I curl it myself, I don’t use hairspray. I hate that stuff.

Answer #5

before you curl it try to what your hair then curl it while its damp and try not to use all those chemicals in your hair its prob the reason your hair is not curling in the first place

Answer #6

you can always ask your hair cutter person about how much a perm would cost. then you wouldnt even have to worry about straight hair.

Answer #7

You probally don’t need to curl it you probally look gorgeous with out it curled and if its for a special acasion you can go get it done by a pro.

Answer #8

Well, my hairs really thick and I have exactly the same trouble as you. I dampen it, curl it, spray a can of hairspray on it, squirt mousse onto it… and yet, within 20 mins it’s back to the way it was! I’ve tried curling tongs- their really not that good either. The thnig that’s worked best for me is just dampening it with water then plaiting it and tying it in a bun before I go to bed. In the morning, it should be pretty curly, and should maybe last a bit longer. I don’t think that it’s because your hairs thin though- as I said, mine’s thick and it’s still dead straight! However, if you want it thicker- get it cut regularly, or maybe get layers in it to add volume. Hope that helps!
