a small round purple pill with the letter “M” inside a circle and the number 100 on the back. what is it?

I think if you call poison control they can tell you what it is. They keep a database of these types of things.

I just did a fairly extensive search online and didn’t find anything.

I’d suggest you go to http://www.webmd.com/drugs/index-drugs.aspx and search for all of the pills you are currently prescribed. Once you select the drug name, click on “images” and it will show photos of the pill.

Of course, if you weren’t prescribed the pill, throw it out.
