What food isn't allowed if you're singing or going to sing?

I’ve never really had the courage to but I love to sing, I don’t know what to do???!!!@ I meen do I try my best to sing infront of people, or what help me! please. Also what food isn’t allowed if you’re singing or going to sing?

I use to have the same problem…lol… but for me it wasn’t singing… it was acting! I love drama… and I’m able to present stuff infront of my class… but when it come to school plays and stuff I got so nervous! I hate HUGE audiences. I remeber I got selected to read my speech for speech arts in gr7… and I nearly flipped! lol key thing is to take deep breaths through the nose, and just stare straight at the wall (it worked for me), then you could imagine you’re some place else like kittenn084 has said! but once you’re singing up there and enjoying what you love most… you’ll realize how you love the feeling of sharing your talent with others! (:

I think the best thing to do when you have a problem singing in front of people is to close a door which you know people can still hear you when your behind it and sing then. Eventually, you’ll beable to do talent shows and things like that. Also you could close your eyes while singing in front of people and imagine yourself someplace different. It works for me as I too am a very shy singer. I hope this helped. :)
