when I got mine done I was worried it would hurt. but I was more scared of thinking about it than the actual pain. when you get it done its like a quick pinch just like getting your finger pricked. I swear. its a little sore after though. obviously. but just try not to play with it all that much and it wont be that bad…this is for if your getting it professionally done. doing it yourself is a little different. I did both.

it doesn’t really hurt when you get it done, moreso afterwards. they clamp it pretty tight before they put the needle through so it’s not too bad, but for a few weeks after it will be swollen and it hurts if you get it caught on anything. definately make sure you go to a professional clean piercer and make sure you take good care of it to avoid an infection. good luck!

my friend just had hers done two days ago. she said it hurt as much as a nose piercing. I’m not sure if you have your nose done.. but pretty much most people I know pierce their own noses, so it can’t hurt that bad. however, pain tolerance is different for everyone.. so I imagine it could hurt very little or a lot.
