How would I continue acting in college?

Ok, I want to major in Animal Science at Tarelton State University in Stevenville Texas, but I love (&hearts music and drama &hearts) band (I play &hearts flute and oboe) and I am a fantastic actor, but how would I still do that stuff if I am majoring in animal science?

A lot of schools have clubs you can join even if it is not in your field of study. Also, if the school has any media or film majors then they are always looking for talent for their projects.

Answer #2

You could join a casual acting club. Sorry, but I doubt you will have much time while studying. But there are always bands after you finish study. Just make sure you keep practicing, especially on the instruments. Your love to do these things will find a way to let you do them- I know.. cheesy.. But true.

Hmm, you probably wouldnt be able to actually major in it (because most schools theatre arts programs require a special admissions), but you might be able to perform in community theaters and places like that? I dont know if you’d be able to get any formal training unless you went into the theatre arts program and then double majored (if that is possible). Maybe you should contact the school? I’d contact the theatre arts department, they’re usually more nitpicky about stuff.
