How to thank a doctor?
When I moved house,I went to see my doctor one last time, reguarding all my meds, she had written a letter for my new surgery, I gave her some chocolates, because flowers weren't allowed in the surgery, I thanked her and gave her a hug, for looking after me, and when my mum and dad was alive, for looking after them too.

A card mailed to yoru doctor at his/her office, simply saying something like "Thank you for your wonderful care, concern, compassion and competence" will be greatly appreciated by your doctor.
When I moved house, I gave my doctor a big box of chocolates for looking after me all those years.
