How to take pictures of lightning?

I`m trying to upload a picture but it is taking forever! Why is it taking soo long?

how do I take a picture with my webcam and upload It ?? I'm new to all this .

I use my DSi With an SD card to download them straight onto my laptop.

That's probably confusing, sorry. There's buttons you push on your keyboard to take a picture of the screen on your computer....
