How to take care of 5 week old puppy ?

I don’t know who the breeder was. But the Breeder gave the mom away and the babies and went out of town I wasn’t expecting Dakota for another couple of weeks but she is here now and I didn’t find out that the mom was given away until after I got Dakota, because of the little sleep that I’m getting I would consider taking her back she sleeps just fine during the day but is very fussy at night. Is it possible that she could have her days and nights mixed up. I guessed they milked the mother because I have the milk in water bottles. I need to know everything there is to know about this chihuahua. I’ve never had a puppy this young. I also have a 10 month old chi . I had her since she was 7 months old I found out she had heart worms when I took her for her shots. Can anyone give me any advice. right now I’m using the bandit-buddy method for the heartworms. I cannot afford the treatment (herbs) Thanks very much

If this pup is 5 weeks, he doesn’t need mama’s milk anymore…feed him puppy kibble, soaked in water, so it softens…offer 3 or 4 times a day. He’s very young so housebreaking should be done ever so gently…getting him out often.

Back when I was a kid, people gave up pups and kittens at 5 and 6 weeks as a normal way of doing things. This little pup will be fine…with wet kibble and don’t forget his shots…
