How to stop worrying about someone I like from Nigeria?

Hello, I was wondering, how to stop worrying about someone I like in Nigeria? Well, here is the cause, the guy that I’ve started getting to know is from Nigeria, and, I met him off of this one website for singles who are part of our church and, a few days ago, he emails me to tell me that he’s sick and, when he called me also, to find out, that he had Molaria. I hear that Molaria is life threatening and, for the last couple of nights, I’ve cried and, had some anxiety just because he’s sick and, I don’t know why I have these feelings that his health is going downhill. But, I received an email from him today and, he says that he’s okay and that the doctor would like him to rest. This guy, is very sweet and I love his voice and, his name is Samuel Afape. So, what could be the reason why I worry everytime he gets sick?

Oh! by the way,I , myself am from the US in the State of Michigan and Samuel Afape is from Lagos Nigeria.Let me know your thoughts.
