How to set this up?

My friend recently purchashed a laptop from Best Buy I think, and when she bought it they gave her 3 discs.

Applications and Drivers
Recovery Disc 1
Recovery Disc 2

She has no idea if she is suppose to install them or to just keep them in a safe spot.

this is what id surggest…

recovery 1 + 2 are only needed to reinstall her system to teh original state..

so keep them safe, very, very safe ;)

the applications and drivers as zudano said should already be installed with a OEM system.. but…

yes theres always a but..

some drivers might not be installed as god forbid… the makers actually see companys releasing drivers every few weeks and depending how long the lappy has been on shelf everything might be out of date and for security reasons she might need to check for updates and the updates might be on the CD apps and drivers.. see what I mean? ;)

They should all be installed already and are just there incase you need to reformat or recover the system.
