How can I get these photos from my computer to a CD?

Here are a couple of questions for you that might help solve your problem.

Have you looked to see how many megabytes your 3000 pictures takes up?

A CD can only hold about 700Megabytes.

If your 3000 pictures takes up more than 700MB try moving groups them into other folders to make small “batches” or albums of your pictures. I usually try to get them around 690MB, just to make sure that they’ll fit on the CD.

You can check to see the size of the folder that your pictures are in by clicking the right mouse button on the selected folder. Then in the popup menu scroll down and select “Properties”. That will tell you the size of the folder.

The only other think I can think of that could be causing a problem would be the age of the CD drive and the recording speed of the blank CD’s you are using. Older drives may not like the newer CD’s.

You’ll also need the serial number of your computer to use the support area. They have a help window that can show you where to locate the serial number on your computer.
