How to make straight hair a different style?

I hate my hair being straight all the time, I want a change! I wanna go with like curly or something like that, I just get tired of my boring straight hair, and my hair when I curl it by myself I have to put a heck of a lot of hairspray and it still dont stay curly!!! I just want a new style.

maybe you could scrunch your hair. when you get out of the shower, put tons of gel, mousse, and hairspray in your hair and scrunch it with your fingers so that it’s curly. it gives your hair a wet, curly look. :) it does take tons of gel and mousse, even for wicked curly hair like mine.. but it looks nice. good luck!
