how to make make-up stay on longer?

I love having foundation and eyeshadow on but even by mid day it is looking kinda smeared and I was just wondering if its because my skin is oily or if there are any techniques to use to make it stay on longer?

I’ve heard of a spray from MAC cosmetics but never tried it but I heard that it works really good and it halps keep your make-up on all day. if you try it let me know.

after you put on your foundation brush on powder over it to help set it and for eyeshadow use a eyeshadow primer before putting it on.

You can use a Primer.

I use a silicone based facial primer by Earthen Glow. I have the little sample bottle and it’s lasted me forever! It’s expensive but works and goes a long way.

For my eyes I use Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion. (an industry fav) Seems to work really well.

I also from time to time use a lip primer from Urban Decay, it helps my lipstick go on smoother but doesn’t really seem to last any longer.

You should get a makeup primer. It helps keep makeup on longer and helps it not to smear or smudge as much. There are foundation primers you can get like at the drugstore and I think Target or Sephora have some primers too. You can also get an eyeshadow primer but what I always use to help keep my eyeshadow on longer is I put a little bit of foundation or concealor on my whole lid and it surprisingly works good as a primer. But if that doesn’t work for you then look for an eyeshadow primer too
